¿WHERE CAN I APPLY FOR THE NOMAD VISA?

There are two ways to apply for this VISA:

Apply directly from Spain with a tourist VISA. You will get a 3-year residence permit.

Apply through Spanish Consulate in your Country. You will get a 1-year VISA you can apply for a 3-year residence afterward.

¿WHO CAN APPLY FOR tHIS VISA?

This new VISA is open for all non-EU nationals who work remotely for non-Spanish companies. If you are an employee authorized by your company to work remotely from another country or you are a self-employed worker (freelancer) with several clients throughout the world or sources of income derived from online activities but distributed outside of Spain, this is the right VISA for you.

¿WHICH ARE THE MAIN REQUIREMENTS?

If you are an employee, the company you work for must be located outside of Spain and you must prove an employment relationship prior to the application of at least 3 months and that the employment contract is indefinite or of at least 1 year.

If you are a self-employed worker, you must prove that you have a working relationship with at least one company that allows you to work remotely.

You should have proof of your expertise in the field (University degree or Business School degree) or at least 3 years of work experience in the field

The income received in Spain or by Spanish companies cannot represent more than 20% of your total income.

Have sufficient economic means for the worker and his family. 27.500 $ / a year for an individual adding 10.500 $ for each family member who moves with you.

Have no criminal records in the countries you lived in the past 5 years.

Have a Health Insurance.
